Start March/April 2024 (4.5 months needed for licensing, so apply now.) We have an opening on the North Island of New Zealand for a Geriatrician. The role involves providing inpatient, outpatient, and community care, with support from a consultant geriatrician on-site three days a week. House and car will be provided for the duration of your assignment of 6 to 12 months. Roundtrip airfare for physician and spouse (if applicable). The location in the lower west coast of the North Island which offers a picturesque backdrop, beach communities, mountain bike trails, pristine rivers, and a burgeoning creative arts and music scene. The area is also close to excellent hiking and mountain bike trails, great fishing spots, and is only a short drive from the beach. Wellington, the Wairarapa, Hawke’s Bay, and Mt Ruapehu are only a couple of hours away.
