Your adventure starts...where? My adventure would start in County Cork, Ireland. My grandmother traced our family back to this area and I can't wait to go back.
A great moment for you: Probably being the first member of my family to earn a college degree.
Your passions outside of work: I'm an avid supporter of Real Salt Lake, the Utah Utes and my home-state UCONN Huskies. I love to golf (especially with my Dad). I also really enjoy cooking. My parents brought me up in the kitchen.
A quote that inspires you: "Audentis Fortuna Juvat" Latin proverb that translates to "Fortune Favors the Bold." I first heard it from former Real Salt Lake Head Coach Jason Kreis while completing an internship in the team's media relations department.
Why I live in Utah: I moved to Salt Lake from Connecticut in 2005 to attend the University of Utah. I loved it so much that after receiving my degree rather than moving back home, I decided to stay, which resulted in thousands of dollars spent on cross-country airfare and road trips (but I think it's worth it).
Best place I've lived: Salt Lake City, Utah. Not that I disliked where I grew up in Bristol, CT but I like the balance Salt Lake offers between city living and the outdoors. I could make the best of living anywhere as long as I had good friends and/or family with me.
First job: Westwoods Golf Course in Farmington, CT. I attended the youth summer camps until I turned 13. The pro at the course offered me a job at the driving range and I couldn't be more excited. By the time I graduated high school I had worked as a driving range attendant, the first tee starter, pro shop attendant and course ranger. I did everything but drive the beer cart (I was too young to serve alcohol).
